One common way of creating a muslim boy name is to take the prefix abd- and combine it with one of the ninety-nine muslim names for god. And names that begin with abd- often refer to being a servant of god. As such, abdalleem means servant of the omniscient, and abdullah means submissive to the god.
Note that the name abdul simply means servant, and as such is not a full name in itself. Here are some muslim boy names that are named after people and prophets in the holy books: aaban and mikaeel are both names of angels, adam, luqman, and dawoud are both names of prophets.
