How to choose the Right Tamil Baby Names

Name helps to differentiate your child from other children. Usually people conduct a huge function or a party for the naming ceremony of their baby. The naming ceremony takes place within seven days from the birth of the child, this holds true for almost all the religions. A Baby Name must be chosen sensibly as it is the only thing that will be with him right from the first breath till the last one, and on the Judgment Day he will summoned in the court of “The Almighty” by this name.

In the south, especially so in the Tamilian community, tradition exists to name the child as per the name of his grandparents. Anyway, in the original times in Tamilian culture had names from the scriptures, mythology and Shlokas. Virtues are rarely named but a Lata, Rama or Shoba again is very common household names. Ashwathy or Aishwarya is again traditional and very old Tamil baby names.
